Natural resin incense, also called Katar incense, (liturgical incense).
Used for 6,000 years as a perfume and a panacea, olibanum (whose original name comes from the old French "francencens", which means "pure incense") is an aromatic resin obtained from trees of the Boswellia genus.
This tree grows only in a narrow region between the Horn of Africa and India and in parts of southern China.
Most of the world supply comes from Somalia, Eritrea and Yemen,
